Rena had a policy that she would go on one date with any guy that asked. Gene decided to ask Rena one day for a date and of course she said yes! They spent the evening at an acapella concert, went out for drinks afterwards, and hit it off! While searching for a spot to get married, they came across Doe Creek Farm, a working apple orchard in Giles County, Virginia, and decided it was the perfect spot for their laid back, casual wedding. Everything about the venue and details were perfect including the best weather you could ask for! Some details I loved were the burlap, colorful flowers by Stonecrop Farm, mini cupcakes, mason jars, and those cute little bowtie placecards! The ceremony took place in front of the farm house and reception in the packing house where the guests danced all night long! At the end of the night, Rena and Gene were wished farewell with sparklers headed to an amazing honeymoon in Argentina!
