Taylor and Emmett are both from the Annapolis area and first started dating back in their junior year of high school! Emmett later joined flight school for the Navy and together they have moved to Florida and Texas. It was on a trip back home that Emmett popped the question right in the downtown Annapolis. Before proposing, Taylor’s Dad gave permission for him to marry his daughter as long as he wrote a poem first about it! He passed the test and the proposal happened this past winter when it was about 13 degrees outside! Afterwards, family and friends gathered to celebrate at Blackwall Hitch and now a wedding is planned for June. It was perfect for these two to start their engagement shoot downtown and next we hit a few beautiful spots on the Naval Academy grounds.
