Despite the rainy day, Katie and Rob were all smiles for their wedding day on their family’s gorgeous property on Hoopers Island, Maryland. These two were meant to be together from the moment they first saw each other in the 8th grade. It was love at first sight and lots of note passing in school! After high school, Katie and Rob had to go their separate ways for 15 years and ended up reconnecting in Pennsylvania where it all started. Two years later, a memorable wedding was planned with a Jewish ceremony, Sinatra singer, and my favorite, the hora dance where Katie and Rob were lifted up in chairs! On the lawn sat the most beautiful sail cloth tent I have seen and tables covered with sage napkins, colorful florals, and a custom comic book telling their story. I loved all of the elements of their Jewish ceremony including the signing of the ketubah, the blessing and drinking of wine, and the breaking of the glass. The party continued under the tent with toasts and dancing to the amazing Flynnatra band! Check back for newlywed images of Katie & Rob planned for another day with sunny weather and a sunset!
