So much planning went into Julie and Brian’s wedding at Sundara in Boones Mill, Virginia and the results were incredible! Julie’s sister was married at this same location a few years ago and Julie loved it so much, she couldn’t think of a more perfect venue. Julie also wore the same long gorgeous veil as her sister did on her wedding day. Julie and Brian met while in college and it took some persistence (about 1 year!) from Brian before Julie would agree to a date. She finally did and they have been together ever since! Life has recently brought them to Mississippi where Brian grew up and now attends law school. I would have to describe the day as very classy with touches of green, ivory, and turquoise. The atmosphere was romantic with lanterns hanging from the tent and trees outside. And the food by Tracy Hamilton Catering…WOW! There were hand shucked oysters, fried soft shell crabs, shrimp and grits, lots of artfully prepared appetizers, and even mini chicken and waffles as a late night snack. Everyone danced late into the night with music by the Winn Brothers Band. Julie even ditched the dress and changed into shorts for the last few songs! At the end of the evening they were wished farewell with a sparkler exit.
